The thermal insulation will be realised by a board of rigid polyisocyanurate foam (TAUFOAM by Recticel / POWERLINE) with an improved fire behaviour, a core volume weight of +/- 30 kg / m³. This board has an improved fire behaviour and an A1 reaction to fire in compliance with RD 19/12/1997.
The boards will be provided with a slightly battered aluminium foil with a thickness of 50 micron. The upperside has a white lacquer facing whereas the backside is aluminium-coloured.
The boards will constantly be subjected to a quality control conducted by an acknowledged institute.
The production of the insulation boards is certified according to the ISO 9001 : 2000 standards.
The declared thermal conductivity coefficient λD = 0,024 W/mK.
The width of the boards is 1227 mm; the length will be determined by the dimensions of the building (max. 5 m).
The maximum distance between the seakers will be 1350 mm.
The fastening and the waterproof sealing of the insulation boards needs to be accomplished by means of PVC profiles with 2 springy tabs (EUROTHANE PROFISOL). The colour of the profiles is close to the colour of the insulation.
The fixation of the PVC profiles to the bearing construction needs to be done by means of metal brackets in Aluzinc which reach over the profiles.
The instructions of the manufacturer should be followed during the installation of the boards.
The following dimensions have to be used:
