Cavity wall insulation with EUROWALL

The thermal insulation of the outside wall will be realised by means of a partial cavity filling with a board of hard Polyurethane foam (EUROWALL) with a core volume weight of ± 30 kg/m³.
The boards will be faced on either side with a mat grey gasproof multi-layered complex of kraft paper and metal foils.
The board will have acquired a technical approval and are subject to a permanent quality control conducted by an acknowledged institute.
The production of the insulation boards is certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 standards.
The declared thermal conductivity coefficient λ_D = 0,023 W/mK.
The dimensions of the boards are 1200 mm x 600 mm.
Boards with round tongue-and-groove connection along the four sides will be used in order to avoid thermal bridges.
The boards need to be pressed against the internal cavity sheet. The number of fixations will amount to a minimum of 5 per m².
The total cavity wideness will be as such, that on the side of the external cavity sheet, a minimum of 30 mm of aerial cavity is available.
