The thermal insulation of the outside wall will be realised by means of a partial cavity filling with a board of hard Polyurethane foam (EUROWALL) with a core volume weight of ± 30 kg/m³.

Reaction to fire: class A1 according to RD 19/12/1997, class 1 according to  BS 476 part 7 and Euroclass F according to  EN 13501-1.

The boards will be faced on either side with a gastight multi-layered complex of kraft paper and metal foils, 1 side will be reflecting the other side will be mat grey. The reflective side will be at the side of the aircavity.

The board will have acquired a technical approval and a CEN Keymark. They are subject to a permanent quality control conducted by an acknowledged institute.

The production of the insulation boards is certified according to the ISO 9001:2008 standards.

The pressure resistance with 10 % deformation: > 120 kPa (1,2 kg/cm²).

The declared thermal conductivity coefficient λD = 0,023 W/mK.

The dimensions of the boards are 1200 mm x 600 mm. Boards with tongue-and-groove connection along the four sides will be used in order to avoid thermal bridges.

The boards need to be pressed against the internal cavity sheet. The number of fixations will be minimum 5/m². The boards are installed with staggered joints.

To improve the airtightness, we recommend to seal the joints (seams) with a special self adhesive tape (Rectitape). The tape is well applied on a dry, clean surface.
