Insulation above bearing floor

Floor insulation is used in stables in combination with floor heating.
Floor insulation is important in storage areas for potatoes, vegetables and fruit.
The joins with the wall insulation must be made carefully.

IMPLEMENTATION

PE foil is placed on a stabilized base or concrete floor. Care must be taken that this overlaps the PE foil of the wall. These and other overlaps must be a minimum of 20 cm.

On this the EUROFLOOR boards are laid dry. The wall insulation must join with the floor insulation. On the floor insulation a PE foil is rolled out to prevent water getting between the insulation. After applying metal reinforcing the concrete cover layer is poured.
